Great things are happening since Open Arms has partnered with Stand By Me! As our organizations are working together, even more children around the world are being empowered to reach their full potential.
Right now, with the suport of Stand By Me, up to 100 new children are being accepted into Open Arms Academy on scholarships! These are children in difficult circumstances who live in the community surrounding Open Arms Village. Now they will be able to attend a wonderful school, free of charge.
This is life changing for these children whose families could never afford to send their children to a private school. Now, each child will receive a quality education, healthy meals, daily encouragement and mentoring, and learn about the love of Jesus!
Today, I am asking you to join me in prayer for this initiative. All of the children have to be selected and arrangements made for them to start the new school term at the end of April.
Please pray that:
The best teachers will be found to meet the needs of the new children.
The upgrades to the school facilities will be completed in a timely manner.
The best candidates for scholarships will be easily identified and their enrollments will be seamless.
