In January, a newborn baby girl was abandoned in a city near Open Arms Village. Her cries caught the attention of a woman passing by.
Realizing little Bishara had been left alone, she picked up the baby and rushed to the police station.
Soon the call came asking if there was a place at Open Arms Village for this precious baby girl. Because of you, the answer was yes!
Unfortunately, due to the recent global economic downturn and deepening poverty, child abandonment is on the rise.
