Open Arms Village is one of the only options for babies in need of a home in their district of Kenya. Few children’s homes have the resources needed to provide for an infant. But, because of your generosity, Open Arms is always ready and able to welcome both babies and children in need of love and safety. In December, a baby boy was born to a young woman living on the streets of Kenya. His mother’s struggle with personal tragedies and no safe housing left little Thomas in a life-threatening situation. Recognizing the eminent danger for Thomas, another homeless woman notified the Children’s Office that the tiny baby needed urgent help.
Thomas was rescued and taken into an emergency placement, but a long-term answer was needed. That answer is Open Arms Village! Together, we can provide Thomas with all he needs to grow and thrive.
